Commerce Foundation Center. The Foundation Center offers a
variety of rental options to serve the needs of businesses of
all sizes. Whether planning a large event, a training session,
a small conference or a one-on-one interview, the Foundation
Center can accommodate your needs.

MEETING SPACE GUIDELINES:
Space must be reserved in advance and is available on a first-come-first-served
basis. Priority will be given to the Foundation, the Chamber and its members.
- Renters will have 30 minutes prior to meeting time to set up and 30 minutes after meeting end for
room set up/clean up at no charge. Set up and clean up is the responsibility of the user. The meeting space needs to be put back in the room's
original configuration. Facility damages will be the responsibility of and invoiced to the user.
- General office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Facilities and equipment used at this
time will be discounted because of the available onsite staff. Staff and utility charges are added to the off hour rates.
- Kitchen facilities and supplies are not available to users. However, a caterer may use the
kitchen. Only caterers who are insured or renters with a special event alcohol insurance rider may serve alcoholic beverages.
- Coffee and soft drinks may be purchased.
Requests must be made with rental agreement and
users will be charged for them. Water and ice are complimentary. Soft drinks
are $5 per six pack; Two-liter pot of coffee $5 each; 60 cup coffee urn
$25.
- The Foundation Center does not provide staff for meeting management assistance. Whenever possible, staff will assist with advice about room set up, caterers, etc.
- Audio/video equipment available for rent:
Power Point Projector - $75/day
Overhead Projector - $25/day
Equipment rental needs to be requested at time of scheduling. Staff needs to be notified when the meeting is finished to ensure proper storage of
equipment. Use of the copy machine will be charged at ten cents/copy.
- The Foundation must be notified 48 hours prior to cancellation, otherwise room rental fees will
not be refunded.
- Due to the popularity of the small conference rooms (Ben Craig and Rau Construction Room) available to members at no charge, anyone booking the
room and then "no showing" will be charged a $25 no-show fee. The number of bookings for members of the small conference rooms at no
charge will be limited to six per year. After six bookings, the member will be charged at $10/hour for any additional booking of the small
conference rooms.
All rental checks must be made out to The Overland Park Chamber Foundation.
