Bank will host the Border Showdown Pep Rally to benefit
Harvesters Community Food Network from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November
20 at the Country Club Plaza branch parking lot at 800 W. 47th
Street. The bank will be collecting food and money on behalf of the
University of Kansas Jayhawks and University of Missouri Tigers.
Attendees are encouraged to come and support their teams and donate
to Harvesters to determine which school can collect the most
donations. Attendees also can enter to win prizes and enjoy snacks,
refreshments and games, compliments of M&I Bank, as Sports Radio

Overland Park presents the annual Mayor’s Holiday Tree Lighting
ceremony on Thursday, November 20. Activities begin at 5:00
p.m., and Mayor Gerlach lights the tree at 6:15 p.m. Activities will
include hayrack rides, Dickens carolers, Santa Claus, plus music and
dance performances. Mayor Gerlach will present a check to Sunflower
House from the Mayor’s Holiday Tree Lighting Fund. Donations are

season hits at a FREE walk-in flu shot clinic, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on
Saturday, November 22, at the Shawnee
Mission Medical Center Outpatient Pavilion at Prairie
Star Parkway. The new facility is located on the southwest corner of
